Thank you Barbara B. Sturm, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston, Renee Hopkins, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston (CCE LIV) 4-H Youth Development Educator and DeAnna Croteau, CCELiv Family and Consumer Science Program for holding the Bicycle Safety Rodeo during our Book Fair last Saturday. Children “drove” through the safety course and 12+ youth received helmets & helmet fittings!
Thank you also to Livingston County Sheriff Deputy Cheyenne Masiello! We were thrilled to have her speak to the youth about bicycle safety. She offered some great tips to the youth!

The Friends Book Sale continues! We still have a great selection of books! Stop at the library today and tomorrow during regular library hours and fill up bags of books for only $1/bag. We provide the bags.

We are drawing the winners this Saturday at the Book Sale & Fair!
Join us in the Patterson Room 10am-3pm for our biggest book sale ever! $3/bag; we supply the bags.
Lawn activities are 10am-3pm (weather permitting). If you are going to participate in the Bicycle Safety Rodeo you will need a signed registration form (available at the library and post office). Forms will also be available that day.
Bring your bicycles and helmets! The Friends are also holding a Bicycle Safety Rodeo from 10am-3pm on the library lawn on September 18. Registration is required to participate; forms are available for download here: https://wordpress.com/…/friendsoflivonialibrary…/1959, at the Livonia Post Office, at the Library and will also be available the day of the event.
